Pronunciation Improvement for Non-native Professionals:

Foreign-born professionals and executives coming from out of town, new H1B visa holders and others will receive three consecutive days of intensive, individualized instruction in American English pronunciation.

This is a 24 hour class over 3 days plus two months' telephone skill maintenance follow-up. All classes are to be held in Chattanooga TN.

Professional Diction and Grammar/Regional Accent Modification :

This course would be appropriate for those wanting to modify regional accents. Regional accents or "country speech" , as well as local expressions and grammatical differences may be a problem to speakers in some occupations or situations. A course of six sessions of individual instruction are available upon request. 8 hour class.

Learn how to compose speeches, cope with stage fright, and deliver speeches with impact! Bring a rough draft of an upcoming speech, plus a lap-top or paper to make revisions. 6 hour class.

Three half-hour sessions of individual coaching to follow up on previous training with Business Speech Improvement to prepare for a specific presentation.

Services provided includes consulting on openings, closings, levels of phrasing based on jury's education and non-verbal skills.

Communcation Consulting is handled in Chattanooga, TN or via video, telephone or e-mail. Expenses are additional.

Speech Rate Reduction for Fast Talkers

Do you speak so fast that others have difficulty understanding you?

Is it important for your professional and personal life that you learn to speak slower? This highly specialized class will teach techniques for slowing speech rate.

Learn to feel in control of your rate of speech!

Note: There are many causes for a fast rate of speech. This class is not intended for those with Parkinson's, hyperkinetic dysarthria or other neurological disorders that may affect speech rate. If in doubt, contact Business Speech Improvement before enrolling.

This four-hour class is for technical experts who want to improve their customer communications skills. This class is scheduled on request only by corporations.

Minimum class size is 10. Fee is $195 per person. Travel expenses are extra.
